Procedure:
On making a booking the customers are to come to the Reef Encounter office and pick up a study guide and theory book (We require a $30.00 deposit for the manual).... It’s the individuals choice how long they want to spend reading over the study material, however the 3 day / 2 night dive aspect must be booked at the time of making a reservation. Ideally we prefer our clients to have completed chapters 1-4 prior to arriving onboard Reef Encounter - the questions are quite simple.
* The theory is fun and easy to learn, you won’t have to spend days grinding away to pass the exam.
You may go to Cape Trib, the Tablelands, study at home, etc, etc…and then sit an exam in our office, or alternatively you can do their theory and exam on board the boat…. As long as you have completed theory and exam by the time you depart off Reef Encounter…
Students can do a minimum of 6 dives or a maximum of 8 dives it’s up to them…
8 pleasure dives over 3 days as opposed to 3 pleasure dives over 5 days – I know which I’d choose…
